I decided to get a close up on her face to also capture how much texture there was since she has so much fur. Since she was calm, I also decided to chose this one, where she is looking right at the camera.I edited this image by cropping it a bit on the top and sides, as well as upping the contrast and playing with the saturation a bit. ISO: 6400 Shutter Speed: 1/160 Aperture: f/36.0 other photos from this assignment include:What I learnedI learned that when shooting an animal it's really important to make sure that your subject stays still. Angles also matter, and I had to keep that in mind throughout the entire time I was shooting my pictures. Overall, I'd say that this was not my favorite, however I still got some experience with photographing animals which was something I was previously not familiar with.

We had to include multiple layers and add details that related to a theme. I chose to do a rainforest type setting and took this picture of a sink as the main subject. The Original Photo: Photoshop Version: What I learned: |

I learned that when using composition, angles can make a vast difference in your picture. I also learned that when shooting a specific photo, it's important to make sure the subject is where you need it to be, and all the elements are arranged as pleased. Overall, this assignment showed me the importance use of composition as a photographer.

I've always loved photography, film, and other things related. I enjoy close-up photography, and portrait shots. I RUN TRACK AND LOVE TO SHOP. I HAVE A SMALL FAMILY, INCLUDING A LITTLE DOG THAT I LOVE TAKING PICTURES OF. I took this class because I wanted to improve my photography skills, as well as learn some new things about myself as a photographer and discover new techniques or editing software I can apply in the future.
